Prik Mun Hot Thai Pepper Seeds – Heirloom, Non-GMO. Capsicum annuum. Also known as Thai chili, bird-type Thai pepper, and regional names such as chilli api, la jiao, lombok kecil, siling labuyo, and togarashi. Matures in approximately 75–85 days. Warm-season annual. Prik Mun peppers are known for their strong heat and compact growth habit. The slender peppers grow about 2–4 inches long, maturing from glossy green to bright red. Plants are productive and well-suited for containers, raised beds, and garden plots. Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last expected frost. Maintain warm soil for proper germination, as pepper seeds will not sprout well in cool conditions. Harden off seedlings gradually before transplanting outdoors. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil once temperatures are consistently above 60°F in a warm, sunny location. Fertilize moderately; excessive nitrogen may result in heavy foliage with reduced fruit production. Excellent for fresh use, drying, stir-fries, curries, sauces, and traditional Thai cuisine. Approximately 5,000 seeds per ounce.
